Jack Howe - A Designed Life Sue Wright/MMA Production
An early pioneer of modernism, including work with Walter Gropius, Jack became known for a wide range of industrial and product designs. His wall clock for Gents was in nearly every classroom in Britain, while his train, the Blue Pullman, set new standards in rail travel. Jack was a key designer for The Festival of Britain in 1951 and came up with the first cash dispenser.
